Throughout history, there have been abomination saloon programs, and surveys that go around avail with bettering the statistics. All programs are make for the bettering safety of the American multitude here today, and to let them roll in the hay if the crime rates have declined or increased. These different methods certify every bingle, and they are very helpful and very useful. For instance the NCVS and the roadway Activities Theory go hand in hand, both these help us in many ways, and they dedicate a stool of their time for us, the people (Siegel, 2011).
The NCVS known as the, National aversion Victimization Survey, has recorded that the numbers of victimization has gone trim back since 1993. They have also come to the conclusion that victimization is non random, and the pattern is stable. We now also know that becoming a victim has a lot to do with personal and bionomical factors. This survey allows different programs such as BJS, to get a better estimate of victimization with rape, assault, theft, and etc. Each year, information are obtained from a nationally representative sample of virtually 40,000 households comprising nearly 75,000 persons on the frequency, characteristics and consequences of criminal victimization in the join States (Bureau Justice Statistics, 2012).



Twice a year; this survey is make full out reported back to BJS. This is also allowing people to take up out their survey because most of the people will not go to the police after they have become a victim. Therefore, this survey helps with the statistics of all these crimes committed annually (Siegel, 2011).
